Today I have a meeting with the Parliamentary Arts Committee.*

I sit in Frank Doran’s office. The view out of his window is wonderful; Parliament Square, the river and Westminster Abbey. The meeting goes well and I feel really supported. They are already talking about the launch party. (I like their style, that’s very me – seeing the final image in my head and working backwards).

I also talk to Melanie about my ideas; they seem to go down well. I hope that she really does like them; I must tell her to say if she thinks I’m barking up the wrong tree!

Come back on Saturday 1 October 2016, when Mary continues to explore the Houses of Parliament…
